Peek Through the Library Door

The premise for this was something like "Looking through a Keyhole," as in drawing what you would see through a keyhole (if you look around the edges, I actually drew in bits of a skeleton-shaped keyhole, or attempted to; I think I used Kingdom Hearts as either a mental or real reference for the shape). It was one of the few assignments we got (as you can see looking through all of them, this is the last one) that WASN'T based on a still life. I was actually going to be a square and draw a real room, and then I was like, wait, my teacher didn't say this had to be based on real life...so after all my debating and procrastinating, I started this the evening before it was due. I actually almost didn't finish it - I distinctly remember walking into class a few minutes before she asked to collect it and going "OMFG I NEVER FINISHED IT" and I was frantically drawing books on the shelves, so some of them might look haphazard...

Despite that, I'm actually kinda proud of this. I saved it for last because it's gotta be my favorite sketch out of the bunch, and there's forty-five sketches in all. I think I put up forty-three because I didn't feel like putting up a really, really crappy sketch of my ceiling (which is white |D so it's looking up towards my door, I was too lazy to go outside) and really bad sketches of old pictures of me. XD But out of those forty-three, this is definitely among my favorites. I really think it is my favorite favorite.
