After looking through several lists of 100 themes challenges (where you make one hundred pieces of art, one interpreting each theme on the list), I'd noticed that several of them were quite similar. In fact, some lists were exactly the same (same themes, sometimes in the same numbers), with the exception of a handful of themes, making them undeniably different lists...to an extent. Being dissatisfied with that, I went on a quest of my own: create a 100 themes list of my own. Using *100ThemesChallenge as my reference, I made a list with no copied themes--with the exception of a few of the color- and element-themed challenge themes, all of these are completely original.

The themes, in a way, all pertain to me: things I like, things I fear, things that just...are me-like. And I wasn't the one that decided that. ~GuardianEarth said something to that effect when I showed him the first list (I changed a few of the themes later on because "Prologue" and "Epilogue", while not technically used in the other lists, were overly similar to the common beginning and ending themes on a lot of the lists).

Now, why, you ask, am I putting this up in a deviation rather than just sticking it in a journal? For one, if I post the list like this first, no one can steal it, put it in their journal, and say "I MADE IT FIRST DDD:". I can say "Uh, dude, look--I posted this deviation before you poked it in your journal". Yes, I am that paranoid. I'm very possessive of what I have--especially my creativity. It's one of the things I hold most dear. So yes, I guard it jealously. Also, it looks prettier this way.

That said, I am going to post the list in the Artist's Comments here. I was going to make this a template for people, kind of like a checklist that you could open up in Paint or PhotoShop and check off each theme as you did it, but I gave up. Why? Because, on the lowest zoom in Paint, this thing was three miles long. And because, once I made the check box, I had to line up the box with the theme, paste another one, and drag it--yes, drag, with my mouse, it doesn't let me tap the up key so that it can be perfectly in line guaranteed--to the next theme after lining it up with the one I just put on. And did I mention, if I made a mistake, Paint only undos twice? And did I mention that a quarter of the way up the list, I realized that I'd made a mistake, and had to edit my list? That's why I gave up. Maybe if/when I get my paws on PhotoShop, I'll do it.

By the way, before I put the list, I apologize for the rude (referring to self with a suffix) and overly cutesy title. It just popped out and I kinda like it.
